Gemba
Gemba 1a is a housing complex and a bicycle-oriented facility located in Koekelberg.
The project is conceived as an anchor, to which different housing typologies progressively attach.
Phasing, rather than a problem, becomes a tool to open the project to vulnerable populations already present on the site. Embracing this fragility gives the project its full strength.
